Intern Monthly Performance Evaluation Policy

Purpose


This policy outlines the performance evaluation process for interns. It ensures

transparency, sets expectations, and provides structured feedback for personal and

professional growth. The evaluation is also used as a basis for potential full-time

hiring decisions.


Evaluation Frequency


Performance will be  reviewed monthly  by the Project Manager and relevant

supervisors.


Evaluation Areas


Interns will be assessed on the following  15 key performance areas , each scored

out of 10 and weighted according to importance:

Each intern receives a final score based on a  100% weighted scale .


Performance Rating Scale

90 - 100 % Outstanding

Excellent performance, exceeds all expectations.

80 - 89 % Exceeds Expectations

Strong performer, reliable and consistent.

70 - 79 % Meet Expectations

Satisfactory, with areas for improvement.

60 - 69 % Need Improvement

Below standard, improvement required in key areas.

Below 60 % Unsatisfactory

Unacceptable performance, may affect continuation.

Key Guidelines


1. Scrum Participation is mandatory. Absences without prior approval will

negatively impact your score.

2. Leave Requests must be submitted at least one week in advance. Only

emergencies will be considered for short-notice leaves.

3. All tasks must be created, updated, and completed in the assigned project

management tool, with proper documentation and communication.

4. Professional behavior, punctuality, and proactive communication are expected

at all times.


Hiring Consideration


Interns consistently scoring above 85% with positive feedback across projects may

be considered for a full-time role within the organization.
