Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java (and related frameworks).

  • Build and manage RESTful APIs for web and mobile applications.

  • Write clean, testable, and maintainable code.

  • Optimize database queries and backend performance.

  • Troubleshoot production issues and implement long-term fixes.

  • Collaborate with frontend, QA, and DevOps teams to deliver high-quality features.

  • Stay updated with industry best practices and emerging backend technologies.

Nice to Have Skills

  • Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Experience with Docker/Kubernetes.

  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines.

  • Exposure to front-end frameworks (basic understanding).

Must Have Skills

  • Strong proficiency in Java (8 or higher).

  • Experience with Spring Boot / Spring Framework.

  • Solid understanding of REST APIs and microservices architecture.

  • Good knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, etc.).

  • Familiarity with Git and collaborative development workflows.

  • Experience writing unit and integration tests (JUnit, Mockito, etc.).

  • Strong debugging and problem-solving skills.
